Naukuchiatal is well-connected by road. From Delhi, it’s approximately a 320 km drive that takes 7-8 hours via Hapur, Moradabad, and Rampur. Buses are available from Delhi’s ISBT Anand Vihar to Kathgodam/Nainital, from where you can take local transport to Naukuchiatal.
The closest railway station is Kathgodam, about 26-30 km from Naukuchiatal. Regular trains connect Kathgodam to major cities like Delhi, Kolkata, and Lucknow. From Kathgodam, you can take a taxi or bus to Naukuchiatal, which is about a 1-1.5 hour drive.

Hi Ashish,Just wanted to give you the feedback based on my stay experience on 27th and 28th Nov.It was really aswum experience during our stay in suite room in Naukuchiatal.Rooms are neat, clean and warm inside. Great amout of space, dual balcony and the views from the front balcony is just amazing.Food quality and service is also good. I really liked the food. Please give a big thumbs up to Hemu and Bishan who were our caretakers, chefs and everything else.I would definitely be in touch with you for my future trips in Naukuchiatal or Mukteshwar,And really want to stay again.We missed your Mukteshwar property this time. But would definitely visit next time.

Stayed here for 3 nights in premium cottage with Family. The view is amazing from both the balconies. The food served is fresh and tasty.The interior of the room can be improved slightly.But overall an amazing experience.The staff Hemu and Bisham are very helpful.Hemu also showed us the tracking route near the resort on the first day and that made our stay even more fun.
Beautiful place to stay. Pleasing vibes. If you want to relax in nature, you must visit this place. The staff is very nice, Mr. Hemu and Mr. Bishan provided very good service. Food is really good.
The stay was very comfortable thanks to helpful and understanding staff. Location was breath taking and the view of the lake was beautiful.Food was nice with options from the local cousine as well.Rooms were well kept clean and beautiful with all services required present.
It’s beautiful place near a river and surrounded by mango orchards. Rooms are of good size and well maintained.They also have a cute Lebra puppy. I could not find any negative thing about the place. Overall a wonderful experience. Would certainly visit again.

Amazing place with serene view and away from all noise of city!!! Only 10 km from Haldwani towards bhimtal. Safe for family and friends alike. Polite and excellent staff, great cook. We had requested and received born fire and snacks on short notice. River side view. Will surely visit again and recommend same to all
Had very amazing experience during stay at Nest and Hives property during Christmas days , property is very well managed and maintained by their staff . If someone is looking for a peaceful & scenic view of River at walking trek then it's a perfect place . Food & Hygiene is also very well managed by Mr. Gaurav (Manager) , Mr. Prakash(Chef) & Mr. Rakesh(Service) who provides homely food & are very polite in nature .Location is around 20 kms away from Bhimtal .
I had always dreamed of passing weekends at a calm, peaceful place on a river bank surrounded by hills. At a distance of mere 15 kms from Haldwani, this Nest & Hives resort at Amia, Amritpur offers excellent accommodation, exquisite food, courteous services, calm and and peaceful environment and of course availability of internet service if you wish to interact with the outer world. You can roam around the bank of a hilly river flowing crystal clear water with mesmerizing music of water splashes and chirping of birds. In addition, camp fire and parties are also arranged here on demand.I wished to look for a place to pass my weekends peacefully but after visiting this place, I would love to spend my all holidays here.I would recommend all the nature loving people to stay at this place away from chaos of crowded destinations.

Its a beautiful place. The rooms are all with a view and the staff is very warm and hospitable. Mahinderji is soft spoken and always ready to help.
Perfect place to relax for folks who simply wish to soak in the beauty of nature. The place is quite secluded so not much to see around, unless you have a vehicle and can drive 14-15 kms to Mukteshwar. Staff is courteous and at your beck and call. The food is homely but could be a little better. Queen Hive rooms are the best with amazing views of the mighty Himalayas. We loved Momo, the resident lab - he is the cutest and will make you feel at home. There is a play room with TT table and other games, swings for kids, arrangements for bornfire - so quite a lot to do within the property premises. The temperature really dips in the night, so suggest carrying enough warm clothes. All in all a good experience for my husband and me.
Beautiful location and property is located at Top of Motiapathar Hill.Resort Staffs are well maintained.Resort dining space is very specious and from there full panoramic view of Himalayan Range is an additional advantage.
The place offers beautiful views of the Himalayas. This has got to be the best selling point about this place.Rooms are well equipped to handle the subzero temperatures in winters. While the upper, Papillon category rooms are quite colorful and well furnished, the lower category rooms aesthetically feel a little bland and can use some more colors.Service is prompt and fast and the staff is very polite and soft-spoken.Food is good too. The quantities in the meal plans are more than sufficient for a single person, and so we end up wasting a lot of food on the first order. Order less. As for taste, some dishes are better than the other, but overall it's not bad.The hotel is located more than 25kms from Mukhteshwar and is easily an hour drive to any place you may want to visit nearby. Not having a car of your own, or a pre-booked cab, could be a problem in this case.All in all, we spent a lot of time at the hotel, especially all the evenings because of the cold, and we felt comfortable and at home.
Visited the place during our visit to Dol Ashram last week , stay was unexpectedly comfortable and simple fresh cooked food was amazing. Early morning view of the Himalaya was just breathtaking. I had never seen such a 180° view of Himalaya at a glance.... The weather was definitely cold but bearable and pleasant.... A nice place to spend quality time in a group, family or friends. But only for those who love nature and want to just relax and rejuvenate their body and mind.
